The program can be followed using a number of methods. Books are provided and the internet can also be used. There are also animated electrical training videos provided that are narrated by the electrician author and they teach quickly and easily. They are easy to learn from due to their footage of live electrical installations, descriptions of volt-amps and other skills and techniques that you will need to know in order to become an electrician. There is one video for every section of the program and each one runs from 75 - 120 minutes. The first stage of the training program is to learn the theoretical language of electricals and electrical equipment and to understand the theory of electrons. Then the program will progress onto the rules of Ohms Law, magnetism, electrical tools, and safety among other things such as, wiring methods, electrical services, and electrical motors. Students will also gain knowledge on how to carry out electrical inspections themselves and how to maintain and repair electrical equipment and their parts.
