A lot of people go into the world of phermones and have such high expectations of what is going to happen. As time passes, although sometimes, those expectations are met, most of the time, they get disappointed as they expect something incredible like they will be treated like a rockstar by groupies or a supermodel with adoring fans.
It is best that people should know what phermones can or cannot actually do. The answer is simple - they can only enhance what is already there.
