Once you find a home business opportunity, you are in complete control. It is up to you to develop the formula for your new home based business opportunity success. Your formula can contain many different ingredients. Many of the ingredients will come from people who have offered you help along your journey. But, there are 4 very important steps that should be applied to every formula. These 4 steps can only be taken by you. No one can take them for you.
Those 4 steps are:
1) Recognize A Trend and Position Yourself In Front of It
The home business industry is just like any other. It moves in cycles or trends. About 8 years ago, an interesting trend developed. Multilevel marketing opportunites lost a lot of popularity points as the Top Tier, 1Up and 2Up opportunites began to emerge.

Now a new trend is beginning to take shape. People are now becoming weary of the 1Up and 2Up opportunities. The reason is really very simple. If you have a commission range of $500 to $1,000 and you have to pass your first 1 or 2 sales up to your sponsor, that's $500 to $2,000 which could have been used to increase your advertising budget and grow your own business that much faster.
Now there is a new commission structure that is attracting people who are trying to find a home business opportunity and affiliate marketers with the more popular 1Up and 2Up companies as well. Positioning yourself in front of this trend is critical to your success.
How can this increase your level of success? Let's say you have a list of 500 to 1000 opt-ins. You've decided that having a secondary opportunity is a smart idea. Now you broadcast a message to your list, telling them about your new home based business opportunity.
Let's say that over time, 2% to %5 of the people on your list join your team. That's an extra $10,000 to $50,000 that otherwise would have been left on the table.
The same approach should be used with your fresh prospects. If they say "no" to your first offer, show them your second option. You are bound to get a large number who say "yes" to the second option. This is how the top income earners sponsor incredible numbers of people into their teams.
4) Be Persistent and Don't Quit
As you're running your home business, you are bound to run into obstacles. How you react to them will determine your success or failure.
No matter how bad you believe things may be, you must be persistent and continue with your plan. You must continue to take steps in the right direction and take action. You have to make up your mind that no matter what happens, you will not give up on your goal.
There is only one guaranteed way that your business will fail. That is - If you quit.
