It's a proven fact that mentioning something FREE versus not mentioning a freebie, will get more responses to your ad. So, why not offer a FREEBIE in every newspaper ad you run?

It is very hard to sell directly from a newspaper. Successful newspaper ads are all geared towards getting the reader to take an action that costs nothing such as making a phone call, coming in to the store, visiting a website, etc. If you tried to sell your product or service in a newspaper, you would need to take out a huge expensive ad in order to provide enough information to actually sell your product and the response would probably not be profitable.

Small newspaper ads are perfect for getting a reader's attention long enough to drive them to a website for more information. You can use this strategy in a two or four inch size newspaper display ad or classified ad.

First, you must realize the overall goal of the newspaper ad is just to get the reader to go to your website. You do not need to use the ad to sell, let your website do that for you. Don't worry it's all easy to put together.

The key objective of this ad is to just get people with an interest in your offering to your website.

It is extremely simple for you to use the examples below in your own advertising.

For example, if you sell an investing newsletter you could simply use an ad such as "Secret Ways To Boat More" with "Secret Ways To Make More Money Investing", www.yourdomain.com

Or if you sell a monthly membership to a site that offers video came codes and cheats you could take this example and replace "Do You Enjoy Boating?" with "Do You Enjoy Playing Video Games?"

I'm sure you can see the simplicity of using these examples for use in crafting your own advertisement. You don't need to reinvent the wheel or spend 10 hours trying to make your ad perfect. Just take one of the examples provided and tailor it to your own offer or mix and match the ads to create something you like more.

Advertising your website in offline formats can be a great way to get very targeted buyers and leads to your website. And, you can do it for much less money than trying to tell your entire story in an expensive newspaper ad.
