When it comes to learning about Texas Hold'em Rules you will find that there are plenty of sites that offer you everything you will need to know about this particular game of poker. Generally you will find that most games will have between 2 and 11 players taking part at anyone time in a game whether it be in a casino or online.

Texas Hold'em is now becoming one of the most popular forms of poker on the internet today and will typically have either 9 or 10 people participating in a game at anyone time. However if less than 9 people are participating in a game then this is commonly referred to as a short hand.

The first thing you need to learn about the rules of Texas Hold'em is that in the beginning in order to decide who will be the dealer first is that each player taking part will be dealt a card from the pack.

The person who has the higher number card (Ace being the highest and two the lowest) will then be dealer and they will have a white plastic chip (the button) placed in front of them to indicate this.

Then after each hand the button will be moved on to the next player to the left of the person who was first chosen by the cards to be the dealer. Thus by doing this everyone who is participating in a game of Texas Hold'em is assured of having the chance to be the dealer.

As well as the rule on choosing the dealer there are other rules which need to be taken into consideration when playing Texas Hold'em. These included the pre-flop, the flop, the turn, the river, the showdown, the position of each player and the winning hand.

Certainly when it comes to the position of each player who is taking part in a game of Texas Hold'em is extremely important and this will help in the way that they play the game. In fact the position that is considered the strongest of all in this game is that of the dealer.

The reason for this is because they are the last one who will be taking any kind of action in the post flop round and they will therefore have more information available to them about what the other players are doing. Certainly when it comes to Texas Hold'em Rules if you are able to understand what each player is doing through out a game then you are in a better position to make the right decisions for yourself when it comes to playing your own hand.
