From its early days, salsa was a very popular dance that combined styles and rhythms from North America, Latin America, the Caribbean’ s and had a strong influence from Africa. As times changed, so did salsa and today it is more flirtatious and more sensual, which made this dance style even more appealing to the public.

When you see Junior and Emily or Nuno and Vanda lose themselves in the dance, you can only be fascinated and amazed of the depth of this dance and your only thought would probably be: I wish I could salsa like they do.

Tropical Gem as well makes all Salsorro participants say they wish they could salsa.
Salsorro, one of the most important salsa congresses in Europe, lasts three days. Three days of dance and music, of competitions and parties, of workshops and live bands that just leave you wanting more. There is not a woman out there who, after such an event, is not fascinated by the stunning dance moves, salsa dresses and salsa shoes and no man left not wanting to hold his partner and move her around just like a salsa dancer does. The whole beauty of this dance makes the three days feel just like an hour.
Even on screen, salsa does not lose its appeal and if you buy a salsa DVD you will get the same thrill and desire of dancing as if you were there yourself. Salsa can not be described in words, for there are not enough to picture all that this dance is and the atmosphere around it. Salsa congresses capture only pieces of this dance style and the emotions you have dancing to this incredible beat. Salsorro is considered to be one of the top salsa congresses in Europe just because it can represent the salsa state of mind and spirit.
