Cosmetic eyelid surgery (or blepharoplasty) is a well sought after surgery, especially by people who want to look younger and fresher. It is performed to remove fats as well as excess muscle and skin from the lower and upper eyelids. 4. In some cases, general anesthesia is given and the patient remains asleep during the surgery
